We are seeking a talented UX Writer with a passion for crafting clear, user-friendly content to join our team. This role focuses on supporting consumer health products, particularly medical devices or software, within a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine user-focused content for consumer medical devices or health software, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and developers to create cohesive user experiences.
• Write, edit, and optimize UX copy, including interface text, instructional guides, error messages, and FAQs.
• Ensure content aligns with brand tone, user needs, and legal/regulatory standards specific to the healthcare industry.
• Conduct usability testing and incorporate feedback to refine content.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a UX Writer, with a preference for work on medical devices or healthcare software.
• Strong ability to write concise, engaging, and effective user-facing content.
• Exceptional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across remote teams.
• Ability to work West Coast hours (PST time zone).
• Immediate availability for a 6-month contract.

Preferred Skills:

• Background in health communication or a related field.
• Experience conducting content testing and user research.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards and practices.

This is a contract role with a duration of 6 months and the potential for extension. The position starts immediately, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact on innovative health products.

Location: Remote, preference for availability during West Coast business hours.
