Security-Engineer II(US)

Understand the security and business context
Provide technical analysis, recommendations and evaluate security products
Design, code and debug systems to accommodate security requirements
Work with Lead/mentor technical team on security design and architecture
Work on Technical Security Projects, Develop / generate code (e.g
hands-on coding, security tool development
CVE/PSIRT Incident Management, Client Inquiry (e.g
Act as a primary escalation point for security breaches, troubleshoot and solve on call/immediate security issues, work on incidents; monitor logs and perform data mining

Minimum Requirements: (Must have Qualifications)

5-10 years of Software development experience in networking industry building applicaitons for Linux/Unix
2
Deep understanding of HW architectures and design of secured servers including secure boot, Trusted Boot, TMP, ARM TrustZone, storage security and networking
3
Rich experience with Linux kernel security solving CVE and managing them
4
Strong coding skills in Python, C, any other scripting languages
5
Solid understanding of network security and industry trends - PKI, TPM, HW security, vulnerabilities
6
Must have worked on handling very large source code using GitBUB, Gerrit etc.

Our team is responsible for product security (called trust worthy systems) for Enterprise Networking product line in ***
This includes *** Enterprise Routers, Switches, Wirless Controllers, IOT etc
devices which are based on ARM, x86 architecture and using Linux OS.
Team works on design , code and unit testing various security requirements for all Enterprise Networking products in ***
We are Platform Independent Infrastructure team responsible for increasing security posture for all Enterprise Networking products.
We work on enabling new security fearures such as SE-Linux, Bootloader security, Chip Protect, auto-detect CVE, PKI, TPM, Taperproof SW/HW, secure erase etc.
You will be part of talented senior engineer team who are working on next generation security architecture for all products.
Responsibilities Include (not not limited to):

Adhering to software engineering best practices

Design and code new security feature and test in c/C++, Python, Scripting languages

Use *** Security Development Lifecycle for all feature development
