Role: WMS Functional Lead
Location: Pleasanton, CA. or Dallas, TX ( Hybrid)
Type: 12 months+ or 6 months C2H
Bill Rate: $125/HR
LOCAL to Bay area or Dallas TX only. Third party C2C is OK too. LOCALS only.
SUMMARY
Albertsons Company Incorporated is looking for the Manhattan WMS (Warehouse Management System) Functional Lead responsible for leading WFMS functional analyst. This position will oversee the overall stability, configuration, and support of the distribution technologies within Supply Chain applications. This user will work with the plant users both off-site and on-site. This is supervisory role requiring experience with Manhattan WMS. This role serves as a liaison between the Distribution Operations team, IT team, and supervise the functional analyst group.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze and develop solutions addressing customer needs.
Ability to take direction, learn processes/systems quickly and apply to deliver results based on a timeline.
Work with businesses to understand and document requirements, determine design and approach, configure, and test various applications to deliver and support business needs.
On-going analysis of the supply chain process to identify opportunities for process and system improvements, efficiency gains
Document requirements, process flows, new functionality
Ability to plan, track, escalate and deliver upon tasks and timelines assigned
Review system design approaches to ensure they fully meet the business requirements
Write use cases, business rules, and other artifacts such as swim lane diagrams and activity flow diagrams to effectively articulate and represent business processes, desired outcomes, and requirements
Produce key documents, both in written and presentation formats.
Excellent problem solver with the ability to keep many driving factors and requirements in focus.
Monitor process and technology and provide insights into overall status.
Expertise interfacing WMS technologies and applications to back office systems
Module design and configuration experience.
Past experience as an analyst for one or more WMS implementations
Basic understanding of Manhattan WMS
Experience in Reporting and BI is preferred
Ability to work in a professional manner, be flexible, and handle interactions with all levels of the organization and with external clients
Demonstrated ability to communicate well with other members of the team and with non-technical end users
Good written and verbal communications skills are required
Self-directed, organized, and motivated
Up to 50% of travel is required during the deployment month
Previous experience in participating in overnight deployments
Previous retail preferred but not required
QUALIFICATIONS
5-10 years- of experience with WMS Technologies (Manhattan WMS) with at least one complete life-cycle implementation experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Transportation, Manufacturing, Computer Science or Engineering, related field, or equivalent work experience
Strong experience working in the Microsoft Office suite of products such as Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision under rigid time constraints.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
NOTE:
There will be 10% to 25% of travel to the Distribution centers.
