Senior Software Development Engineer - OXM Enterprise Team

Job description

Client's is helping its client find a Senior Software Development Engineer - OXM Enterprise Team to ensure expected outcomes by reducing maintenance overhead and KTLO risk, while also improving time to value and enhancing operational efficiency.

In this role, you will deliver AI-based topic modeling/tuning features, facilitate the transition from CrateDB, develop UI components, implement REST APIs, and support the automation of quality assessments.

We are looking for someone with strong proficiency in Java, Goland, SQL, Go, and RabbitMQ. The ideal candidate with also have experience with UI development using React and REST API design expertise.

As a Senior Software Development Engineer - OXM Enterprise Team, you will:

• Deliver AI-based topic modeling and tuning features to enhance data insights.
• Facilitate the transition from CrateDB to an improved text engine backend, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Develop/enhance UI components using React for improved user experience.
• Implement and maintain REST APIs, integrating primary backend services with frontend ongoing with biweekly milestones.
• Support automation of quality assessments for AI tools to optimize KTLO efforts and reduce risks.
• Ensure expected outcomes: reduce maintenance overhead, reduce KTLO risk, improve time to value, and enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Java development
• Experience with UI development using React
• REST API design and implementation expertise
• Experience with GoLand and knowledge of relational databases (SQL)
• Secondary skills in Go programming language and RabbitMQ message queuing
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a cross-functional Agile team
• Familiarity with AI tooling and automation of quality assessments is a plus

Commitment: This is a full-time, 3-month contract position (with the possibility of extension) staffed via Client's. It will be onsite in Reston, VA. Please note, any parking expenses will be the employee's responsibility.
