We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist with deep expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI to join the GenAI team. This role involves end-to-end ownership of AI solution development from data preparation and model training to deployment and optimization. You ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive impactful GenAI applications that enhance customer experience and business performance.
Location: 100% Remote (Nearshore LATAM, Canada, or similar time zones preferred)
Responsibilities:

• Design, train, fine-tune, and evaluate LLMs for a wide range of business use cases
• Collect, clean, and preprocess large-scale textual and structured datasets
• Optimize prompts and models for performance, accuracy, and relevance
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate models into production
• Communicate insights effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Stay current on the latest advancements in GenAI and NLP
• Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to team development

• Master s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, NLP, Machine Learning, or related field (preferred)
• 8+ years of experience in data science, with a strong focus on NLP and deep learning
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying LLM-based solutions in production
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and modern NLP/ML frameworks
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and Databricks
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, ThoughtSpot)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
