Staff Researcher, Real Time 3D Modeling and Rendering

We are building the future of ARVR and are investigating innovative technology solutions that will redefine how people connect, entertain, study, and work
Our research lies at the intersection of intelligent communication and computing, machine learning, ARVR, and computer graphics
We are seeking an experienced and innovative researcher who are interested in shaping the future of technologies to join our team
You will be responsible for developing cutting-edge algorithms and methodologies that enable real time 3D modeling and rendering, with a focus on minimizing communication latency as well as computational resources and time
You will work closely with a collaborative research team to develop and deploy these algorithms in real-world applications.
The candidate is expected to
Play a significant / leading role in the development of Client algorithms and methodologies that enable real time 3D modeling and rendering.
Research and stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field; and track the technology trend in ecosystem and identify innovation opportunities.
Design and improve 3D modeling and rendering workflow, including computation and end-to-end communication.
Collaborate with other researchers and engineers to integrate innovative algorithms into real-world applications.
Write research papers, patents, and technical reports, and present findings at conferences and other technical events.
Requirements:
A Ph.D
in EE/CS with a focus on Multimedia Communication and Networking, Intelligent Communication, Computer Graphics or a related field.
Strong track record in relevant technology research with publications in top-tier conferences or journals.
Having an in-depth understanding of the state-of-the-art technology and literature in the field.
Highly competent in algorithm development and programming.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
