Description:
This person owns the project management and implementation process for Client's Life Care Solutions Monitoring Solutions, Perioperative, and Maternal Infant Care products. This position includes, but is not limited to, sales order review, project planning and documentation, resource coordination, and issues resolution.
Key responsibilities/essential functions include:
Working primarily from a Client or home based office location, the Remote Project Manager is responsible for driving customer satisfaction and process productivity throughout the project installation by:
1. Acting as the primary liaison between Client and customer project teams with onsite support from Service & Sales
2. Identify Client and customer responsibilities and deliverables as defined in the sales contract
3. Creation, maintenance, and routing of formal project implementation timeline with collaboration between the customer, Client, and contract resources
4. Maintaining accurate project milestone date accuracy creating visible and predictable project data for key business metrics and revenue forecasting
5. Regular tracking and communication of implementation progress including project kick-off, regular status updates, and project closure. This includes tracking of equipment delivery, installation, and testing.
6. Identification, escalation and resolution of issues, which might affect customer satisfaction and Client operational targets
7. Lead implementation team during clinical GoLive of the equipment
8. Participation in process improvement initiatives
Quality Specific Requirements:
-Be aware of and comply with the Client's Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.
-Complete all planned Compliance (Quality, EHS, etc) training within the defined deadlines.
-Identify and report all customer or personal compliance concerns immediately to the appropriate organization.
-Ensure accurate and timely creation, maintenance, and submission of required project documentation
Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelors degree and 2+ years of project management experience, or an Associates degree and 5+ years of Project Management experience
2. Minimum 2 years of experience leading cross-functional teams
3. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities to meet scheduled project completion dates and customer expectations.
4. Ability to work and communicate with diverse work partners internal and external to Client and our customers.
5. Ability to work effectively from a Client or remote home office location
6. Ability to work with and influence fellow team members to achieve mutual goals
7. Ability to communicate effectively and facilitate meetings via teleconference or in person with multi-functional groups
8. Ability to work effectively in a matrixed organization
10. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Applications
11. Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
12. Candidate must have a valid driver s license
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelors Degree
2. Ability to communicate complex technical issues in a customer-friendly manner
3. Experience with large-scale project management where deadlines are met on or ahead of schedule; construction, healthcare IT or equipment installations experience preferred
4. Demonstrated customer service experience working remotely with external customers in a clinical environment
5. Ability to provide constructive feedback to installation teams and contractors
6. Formal coursework in project management
7. Knowledge/experience with the healthcare industry and Client's products
8. Proficient in project Management Software such as MS Project
9. Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
