AI Writing Generalist - Math Expert (Southlake)

Job description

Client is helping a global leader in AI development hire talented Math Experts and creative problem-solvers to help train generative artificial intelligence models.

In this role, you will be assigned to work on specific, high-priority projects for customers and/or to draft, create, or review (e.g. edit/grade) work done by others.

As an AI Writing Generalist - Math Expert, you will:

• Work on various math, data analytics, reasoning, and writing projects to train generative AI models.
• Create original and challenging prompts for an AI model to respond to.
• Rank a series of responses that were produced by an AI model.
• Assess whether AI response is relevant and factually accurate or not.
• Writing detailed step-by-step directions or justifications.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or equivalent
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Mathematical Reasoning: strong ability to understand and work with mathematical concepts and problem-solving, including basic to intermediate arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data analysis
• Data Analytics Knowledge: familiarity with data analysis tools/techniques, including but not limited to Excel, Google Sheets, or basic statistical software
• Attention to Detail: high level of accuracy and precision in labeling tasks to ensure the integrity of the dataset
• Critical Thinking: ability to understand complex instructions and make informed decisions based on context and data
• Technical Proficiency: comfortable using different software and computer operating systems, including using a terminal for basic operations
• Adaptability: willingness and ability to work on a wide variety of projects and datasets across different domains
