Product Manager - Merger & Acquisition
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Manager to join our team, specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions within the retail space. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving our company's growth through strategic acquisitions, integrating new products seamlessly into our existing portfolio, and ensuring a cohesive product strategy across all business units.
Key Responsibilities:
M&A Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define and refine the company's M&A strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential acquisition targets within the retail sector.
Due Diligence:
- Lead due diligence efforts for potential acquisitions, assessing the strategic fit, financial viability, and operational synergies.
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and other teams to ensure comprehensive evaluation and risk assessment.
Product Portfolio Management:
- Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and engineering, to ensure successful product integration and market penetration.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Cultivate strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including target companies, to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
- Collaborate with key internal teams to align product strategies with overall business goals.
Risk Management:
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with mergers, acquisitions, and product launches.
- Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges and ensure smooth integration processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in product management, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions in the retail industry.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
