Qualitative UX Researcher

About the Role:
We re seeking a passionate and experienced UX Qualitative Researcher to join our team. In this role, you will help shape the future of user experiences by uncovering insights about user behaviors, needs, and motivations through deep qualitative research. You ll work closely with cross-functional teams including design, product management, and engineering to inform and influence product development with a strong user-centered perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and execute qualitative research studies (e.g., in-depth interviews, ethnographic studies, diary studies, usability testing) to gather rich user insights
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify research questions and scope studies aligned with business goals
• Analyze and synthesize qualitative data into clear, actionable findings and recommendations
• Present findings to teams in compelling, story-driven formats that drive empathy and action
• Advocate for user needs throughout the product development lifecycle
• Work within a fast-paced, collaborative environment, supporting multiple teams or projects as needed

Qualifications:

• 3 6+ years of experience conducting qualitative user research in industry, consulting, or academia
• Strong knowledge of qualitative methods and experience applying them in a tech product context
• Experience working with cross-functional product teams
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and storytelling skills
• Bachelor s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field; Master s or PhD preferred
