Job Description: What You'll Do
The Country HR Representative will work in the HR Country Team for Costa Rica to provide HR operations and administration support to leaders and employees
Costa Rica as approximately 200 employees
You ll be a team member of virtual Global Country Support organization, where you ll join 70 team members based in 40 countries, covering 96 countries, and speaking a total of 30 languages
Country Support plays a critical role in delivering consistent solutions, consulting, orchestration, expertise, and support to our local country communities within HR and the business.
Country Support is the bridge between global solutions (programs and policies) and customized, local experiences
We make sure Cisco s people in every country have what they need to thrive at work.
In this role, you will deliver several core activities:
Support new employee onboarding, ensuring a successful and compliant start in the new role or location.
Support employee data collection, based on local requirements
Support acquisitions by populating pre-approved contracts and filing signed contracts for employees.
Provide support with local expertise for a variety of programs conceived and driven by HR, mostly in service of employee engagement.
Provide support for all termination types, including compiling all required documentation and managing exit meetings, where required
Support personnel file administration by managing hard-copy, locally maintained files, manage electronic copy files, ensure Cisco remains compliant with local regulations, maintain p-file documents related to onboarding, life
changes, and off-boarding, and provide efficient and quick retrieval of documents from a personnel file.
Proactively maintain compliance calendar and data associated with each compliance report, satisfying legal requirements to minimize risk to Cisco
Where employee action is required, handle communications and drive to
100% completion rates.
In addition, this role focuses on improving the employee experience, simplifying internal processes and procedures, driving productivity through continuous improvement projects where necessary, and participates in effective
change implementation.
Who You'll Work With
You will work under the direction of the Country Support leader for AMS (Canada, US, Latin America) and work closely and be a part of the HR Country Team aligned to Canada.
You will partner very closely with broader HR People Care teams and HR specialists, including Shared People Support, Global Staffing Administration, Employee Mobility, and Acquisitions.
You will also work with and manage the relationship with local vendors, ensuring the quality of the service delivery.
