Project Manager

Project Manager We're seeking an experienced, results-oriented Project Manager with a strong understanding of retail supply chain operations and merchandising strategies
This individual will excel in leading cross-functional teams to drive the execution of projects that optimize our retail supply chain
From demand forecasting and procurement to in-store product placement, you'll play a vital role in enhancing inventory efficiency, maximizing product availability, and contributing to overall store profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning: Develop and execute detailed project plans, clearly defining timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and budgets for supply chain and merchandising initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead and manage cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, merchandising, store operations, and potentially marketing, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of projects.
Process Improvement: Identify areas within the supply chain and merchandising for efficiency gains
Propose, design, and implement process improvements to enhance product flow, reduce costs, and streamline operations.
Data-Driven Analysis: Utilize data analytics, forecasting models, sales trends, and inventory reports to make informed decisions about procurement, distribution, and product placement.
Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain and merchandising project plans
Develop contingency plans to address unexpected challenges to ensure projects stay on track.
Vendor & Supplier Management: Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers
Negotiate contracts, delivery schedules, and service levels to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods.
Merchandising Integration: Collaborate with merchandising teams to align inventory strategies with visual merchandising plans, store layouts, and promotional campaigns to maximize sales impact.
Reporting and Communication: Provide regular progress updates, maintain project documentation, and effectively communicate project status to senior management and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project management, ideally within a retail supply chain or merchandising environment
Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) or other relevant certifications are highly valued.
Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint), project management software (e.g., Asana, Jira, Trello), and supply chain/ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite).
Project Management Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in project planning, resource allocation, budgeting, risk management, and vendor management.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable solutions.
Collaboration: Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, building strong partnerships across departments.
Retail Knowledge: In-depth understanding of retail dynamics, merchandising principles, demand forecasting, and inventory management.
