Job Title: Business Professional (US) - Analyst
Job Description: Seeking an experienced Human Resources (HR) professional with a strong Employee Relations (ER) investigations background to join a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment
The ER team is challenged with managing, consulting, and making an impact on multifaceted highly complex employment matters with a focus on case management involving employee situations
Additionally, the team focuses on executive case management and our crisis response program to include large scale regional incidents impacting the company and our employees.
The Employee Relations Consultant will:
Identify and manage risk and recommend strategies for effective resolution within case management situations
Provide direction, guidance and consultation to internal P&C, Business Unit leaders and cross-functional partners
Coach and counsel management and employees daily on a variety of complex case matters
Work closely with Global ER, P&C peers, Employee Legal team and other cross-functional team members and partners
Communicate with all levels of the enterprise, including executive management
Research and apply global requirements as they relate to employment-related case management, programs, policies, tools and processes
Participate in the improvement, design and education delivery of global programs managed within the team
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS or equivalent work experience in Human Resource Management
6-8 years HR Generalist or Employee Relations experience preferred
HR Certification recommended
Global experience a plus
Desired Skills:
Knowledge of Employment State and Federal Laws
Excellent communication, both oral and written
Demonstrated experience in collaborating and supporting business objectives
Exercise solid judgment and ownership of the decision-making process
Extensive use of leadership and influence skills as well as objectivity
Demonstrated ability to influence all levels of management
Ability to work independently with confidence and low supervision
Solid presentation/training delivery
Embrace collaboration, fast-paced environments, desire to learn, achieving results, earning trust, crafting strategy and leading change through productive disruption
Excellent with multi-tasking and managing high case volume
Exude calmness under high pressure fast paced environment
Ability to lead HR strategy discussions and generate plans for implementation in accordance with Cisco philosophy and culture
