Job functions:
1
Monitor and control operation of 4-post shaker, thermal chamber and heat lamps to execute the test profile on a prototype vehicle
The operation of these features and safety procedures will be shared by day shift personnel for initial training
This would include monitoring temperature sensors inside the chamber to ensure they stay within limits.

Perform basic functionality checks/inspections on the vehicle periodically to confirm expected operation/behavior
If unexpected behavior/issue is observed, this would need to be documented clearly with supporting videos/photos, and timestamps.

Log activity and test progress on a provided worksheet to allow stakeholders to monitor status of test.

Communicate observed issues with the vehicle and chamber to the coordinating Rivian engineer/technician in a timely manner
Participate in daily handoffs to day shift personnel discussing test progress and any issues observed.
Testing/Vehicle Validation experience preferred, automotive technology a plus
Basic measurement skills, ability to complete tasks with precision, attention to detail, keen observation skills are needed in this role.
HS Diploma is a minimum, associates or tech college would be preferred
