Are you passionate about unlocking the power of data to create exceptional customer experiences? We are seeking a dynamic Sr. Product Manager to lead tracking and measurement for personalized experiences. In this role, you will ensure we capture data and events in real-time from our online and customer service channels. You will also be
responsible for gathering, organizing and leveraging data to drive and measure the
effectiveness of Sephora s personalization strategy. By bridging technical expertise with a customer-first mindset, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform raw data into actionable insights, fueling innovative marketing campaigns and delivering measurable business impact. Digital Tracking:
- Lead the development of systems for real-time and accurate clickstream data capture across web, mobile, and in-store platforms.
- Develop a customer data product that supports the creation of personalized audiences and triggered marketing.
- Ensure seamless integration with our data platform.
- Work with product lead for data to develop a long-term roadmap.
- Help define and execute a strategic roadmap to support personalized experiences and personalization measurement with data
- Define KPIs and success metrics to evaluate and improve data collection and personalization efforts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with a complex stakeholder team of marketers, analytics, data science, as well as technology partners across product management, UX/UI designers, and engineering, amongst others, to deliver high impact, scalable and user-centric solutions.
- Act as a thought leader in personalization, sharing insights and driving adoption of best practices across teams.
Customer-Centric Approach:
- Work with analytic partners and engineering to help create a customer data
- model that supports personalization and customer analytics.
- Advocate for a customer-first mindset, ensuring data collection and
- personalization solutions meet privacy standards and enhance customer trust.
- Monitor trends and emerging technologies in personalization and
- recommend opportunities to innovate.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of product management experience, with at least 4 years in digital data or personalization-related roles.
- 3+ years developing solutions using clickstream data and tag managers.
- Strong expertise in data ecosystems, including CDPs, analytics platforms, and data governance tools.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing data capture systems and measurement frameworks.
- Familiarity with privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and ethical data practices.
- Experience collaborating in a matrixed organization with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate data into impactful product decisions.
- Excellent communication skills to influence and align stakeholders at all levels.
- Intermediate-level SQL skills to ensure data solutions meet stakeholder requirements. Analytic solutions may be reports or curated data.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the beauty or personal care industries.
- Hands-on knowledge of clickstream analytic tools like Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics.
- Experience using self-service analytic tools like ThoughtSpot.
- Background in eCommerce or omnichannel retail environments.
