Role: UX Designer
Number of UXDs: 1
Duration: 6 months
Skill Set:
- Proficiency with Figma, Google Workspace
- Familiarity with technical constraints and limitations as they apply to designing across platforms and surfaces.
- Strong and demonstrable visual design skills (color, layout, type, etc.) and fluency on best design practices for mobile and web UIs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- General knowledge of accessibility standards.
Scope and Deliverables:
This role will be responsible for producing UX designs and deliverables in support of top Google Fi Wireless projects.
Creating mocks, specs, and assets for several programs:
- Proactive Troubleshooting Support UX
- Create UX flows for to help users proactively troubleshoot network quality issues and plan management issues.
- Create UX flows for voice (phone call) quality troubleshooting
- Activation Improvements
- Ongoing UX improvements to create a more seamless eSIM activations for BYOD (Bring Your Own Device), allowing users to activate immediately after signup.
- Propose improvements on error screens for users who are may activate eSIMs incorrectly
- Implementation support with Eng for Activation Support Pilot
- App & Web settings IA revamp
- Create mocks to propose upleveling prioritized features within Google Fi's App settings
