JOB DESCRIPTION
General Computer Experience
Hand Tools
Microsoft Excel
power tools
Being able to use tools as a true technican
Being able to handle computer systems to record data.
Being able to work indepdently but good enough to be dependable
dynamometer experience
EV Powertrain Knowledge
JIRA
Associates degree is very helpful, but experience will be looked at
Operating and maintaining dynamometer test systems for development and validation testing of electrified powertrain systems (drive units, gearboxes).
Technician will work closely with Powertrain Test Engineers to install, configure and maintain test properties across a variety of complex powertrain test equipment
Additionally, this role will be involved in the disassemble and reassembly of prototype hardware, and first line troubleshooting of laboratory failures.
Technician will be responsible for collecting high quality data, documenting daily work, and creating standard operating procedures (SOPs)
