Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Qualcomm's Advanced Mobile Software Services (AMSS) and Board Support Package (BSP) for developing high-performance embedded firmware. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing firmware for mobile communication devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Firmware Development: Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for Qualcomm's platforms using AMSS and BSP.
- Hardware Interaction: Work closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration between firmware and hardware components.
- Optimization: Optimize firmware for performance, power consumption, and reliability.
- Troubleshooting: Debug and resolve firmware-related issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for firmware development and maintenance processes.
- Compliance: Ensure firmware meets industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Education: Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded firmware development, with a focus on Qualcomm's AMSS and BSP.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
- Strong understanding of ARM architecture and embedded systems.
- Experience with embedded operating systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
- Knowledge of communication protocols and radio frequency technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Preferred:
- Experience with software development tools such as JTAG, debuggers, and emulators.
- Familiarity with wireless communication standards (e.g., LTE, 5G).
