This is what you'll do:
- EDI Onboarding ramp-up for new and/or existing suppliers to enable EDI exchange for critical transactions, undertaking all the tasks but not limited to below –
o EDI Communication setup.
o Trading Partner profile setup with Data Integration team as well as ERP.
o Guide the Suppliers/Carriers through questions and concerns during EDI setup.
o Run end-2-end test cycle to ensure adherence to Rivian's specs.
o Coordinating Go-Live sprints with all the key stakeholders.
o Support infant care support for the Suppliers post EDI Onboarding.
- Work cross-functionally within Supply Chain team (Purchasing, Logistics, and Program Management) and external teams (Material Planning, Warehousing, Finance) to ensure that the EDI mapping is done correctly and that all the business scenarios are captured during the map development.
- Support ad-hoc analyses and reporting onboarding status for Supplier and Carrier base.
This is what you'll need:
- 5-7 years of EDI experience with ANSI-X12 and UN-EDIFACT standards.
- Hands-on experience with most or all the following transactions such as 830/DELFOR, 862/DELJIT, 866, 856/DESADV, 810/INVOIC, 850/ORDERS, 855/ORDRSP, 860/ORDCHG, 824/APREK, 820/REMADV, 204, 214, 210, 315, etc.
- Have a strong understanding of ERP such as SAP S/4 HANA plus Transportation Management Systems with exposure to corresponding modules such as Procurement, Material Management, Logistics and Accounts Payable.
- Ability to utilize SQL, Tableau (Optional), Excel for business analytics and report generation.
- Experience working with Integration platforms such as Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, Microsoft BizTalk, SI, etc
Comments for Suppliers: Open to fully remote; if local, the role will be hybrid.
Hands on experience on EDI Trading Partner Onboarding.
Setting up Trading Partners on VAN or Direct Connects (AS2, OFTP2, SFTP, etc.).
Setting up partner profiles on SAP WE20, Output condition records.
Experience in cross functional Procure To Pay process.
