Sales/Account Manager III
Key Responsibilities: | Ability to analyze vertical markets and select top sectors and partners | Engage partners in productive dialog | Quickly assess needs and potential | Direct to resources and engage in manner that maximizes long-term productivity | Deliver exceptional experience | | Responsibilities: | Responsible for recruiting partners in our targeted vertical and helping the partners with success. | Responsible for responding to vertical partner inquiries and recruiting targeted partners for the Constant Contact Partner Network. | Identification of potential reselling partners in vertical markets | The lead on the relationship with the potential reselling partner during the on-boarding process | Jointly develops the partner relationship with new partner | Jointly develops the business plan with the prospective partner and the channel leader if a larger organization | Deploy approved Channel partners | Identification of complementary products and services and communicating to the channel leader and other senior mgmt as appropriate. | Identification of gaps in channel coverage and communicating to the channel leader and other senior mgrs as appropriate. | Warm hand-off to channel marketing mgr to drive joint marketing campaigns for appropriate partners. | Warm hand-off to sales mgmt to transition the relationship to sales mgmt (review business plan). | Schedules up the joint activity with partner to drive sales success | Contribute to the definition of partner profiles as they evolve. | Attends Constant Contact partner meetings and presents updated coverage gaps and new recruiting plans. | Attends tradeshows and industry conferences for recruiting new partners. | Maintain a pipeline of active partners by sector. | Update CRM daily | Coordinate recruiting efforts with other vertical channel account managers
