Infrastructure Automation Engineer
Job Title: Intermediate Infrastructure Automation Engineer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intermediate Infrastructure Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment processes. The role requires a strong foundation in automation tools, scripting, and containerization technologies, along with a solid understanding of Linux operating systems and DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Jenkins using both declarative and scripted Groovy pipelines.
Create and manage infrastructure automation scripts using Python and Ansible.
Deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, including Helm chart development.
Perform Linux system administration tasks, including system configuration, patching, and troubleshooting.
Participate in the planning and execution of infrastructure automation projects.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure.
Work with networking and data center teams to support infrastructure integrations and operations (Cisco networking knowledge is a plus).
Required Qualifications:
Proficiency in Jenkins, with experience in declarative and scripted Groovy pipelines.
Strong scripting and automation skills with Python and Ansible.
In-depth knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including Helm for package management.
Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and hands-on Linux administration experience.
Familiarity with basic DevOps practices, such as version control, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Cisco networking concepts and experience with data center environments.
Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
Understanding of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
