Site Reliability Engineer

Role: Site Reliability Engineer
Location: Dallas, TX ( Hybrid role)
Type: 6 months+
Bill Rate:$110/HR

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable applications deployed in Azure.
- Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts to streamline deployment and maintenance tasks.
- Monitor application performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are deployed and configured correctly and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the scalability, reliability, and security of our applications and infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of a catastrophic failure.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing and DevOps.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in site reliability engineering or DevOps.
- Experience deploying and maintaining applications in Azure cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of Azure technologies such as Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure Networking.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Azure Certification (AZ-104, AZ-303, AZ-304, etc.).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, or Log Analytics.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
