Director, Product Analytics

$170,520-$284,400 Annually (based on job, location, and schedule)

Job Overview:
Client is looking for an experienced Leader to lead our Product Analytics Team
This team partners closely with the Product Management and Site Merchandising teams to drive business results through a compelling and delightful shopping experience for our customers

We're looking for someone who has technical, analytical, and leadership skills to surface meaningful insights and the interpersonal skills to communicate the insights in a compelling, relevant way.

Essential Functions:
  • Data Collection, Analysis & Communication
  • The Product Analytics team is responsible for ensuring that we can measure and analyze the impact of all new digital features.
  • Ensure that the analysts have the tools and support they need to be accountable for measuring new and existing digital experiences.
  • Leverage your expertise in digital & product analytics to create scalable processes for tracking the impact of new features on our business.
  • Provide analysis for the prioritization of new features in consideration.
  • Manage the design, execution, and analysis of A/B and multi-variate testing programs to support both new features and optimization of existing capabilities
    Partner with the Experimentation Team to expand our experimentation capabilities.
  • Drive alignment and consistency in digital experience analysis, including assessment of incrementality.
  • Partner closely with Site Merchandising Analytics and Marketing Analytics and Finance to create a consistent and comprehensive view of the digital business.

  • Grow the Product Analytics team, both in size and in talent development, to meet the needs of our fast-paced organization with a hunger for data and great analysis.
  • Set a high bar for individual performance and take an active role in supporting and coaching team members.
  • Data accuracy and thoughtful analysis are of paramount importance
    As the Director, you are responsible for ensuring that all analysts can consistently deliver high-quality, actionable analysis.
  • Create an environment that fosters accountability and cross-training and minimizes unnecessary steps
  • Promote diversity and inclusion in all interactions and in hiring.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Digital Business, and Finance leadership to identify opportunities to leverage analytics to drive growth and smarter decision-making across our organization

Qualifications and Competencies:
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience leading analytics, ideally in e-commerce and/or digital.
  • Proven ability to deliver actionable insights to all levels of a large organization
    Your ability to "tell the story is critical.
  • Experience managing 7-10 direct reports and driving results in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
  • Deep understanding of statistical analysis (experimentation, hypothesis testing, regressions.)
  • Expertise in SQL, data manipulation; experience with visualization platforms.
  • Experience using Adobe Analytics.
  • Proven track record of building high-performing teams, mentoring others, and coaching colleagues to reach their greatest potential.
  • Ability to effectively share technical information, communicate technical issues and solutions to all levels of business
  • Able to juggle multiple projects - can identify primary and secondary objectives, prioritize time and communicate timeline to team members
  • Team player who is a self-starter and is able to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
  • Strong presentation skills with an exceptional ability to communicate new ideas and findings
  • Ability to think creatively, strategically, and technically
  • Knowledge of MS Office computer programs are required
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs.
