In this role, you will:
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the Consultant experience, defining and delivering improvements to that experience, turning your ideas into solutions, and taking action to deliver positive outcomes.
- You will collaborate cross-functionally with business partners, external vendors, engineers, other product managers, designers, and most importantly, our Consultants.
- You'll lead all aspects of product development from ideation and discovery to launch, and be comfortable taking on many different tasks to implement and ship your product
You'll report directly to our Director of Product Management, Consultant Tools and Services.
- Collaborate with business partners, engineers, other product managers, and design experts to execute the business strategy.
- Apply and possess in depth knowledge of product management discipline and standards, evangelize product management best practices and standards within the team.
- Work with third party technology providers as required, ensuring the requirements are implemented according the needs of the business.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Write user stories.
- Conduct analysis and make recommendations regarding the direction of the product.
- Help to ship high quality products on time with quality.
- Follow the vision and roadmap for products & projects under your responsibility, gathering input from internal business partners and customers to craft a prioritized, realistic, roadmap.
- Follow technology trends and digital product opportunities based on user, market, and technical inputs.
- Be an evangelist for your products, articulating customer and business value to all levels of the organization.
- Make thoughtful decisions on the fly, constantly clearing roadblocks to getting your product live.
- Actively participate in efforts to improve processes.
- 5 to 7 years' experience in product management, with proven delivery of customer-centric features and enterprise software capabilities.
- Demonstrated success in working with web and mobile product teams – facilitating collaboration between external and internal engineering, UX, project management & product teams; shipping products that deliver results.
- Experience with Penny based systems is very helpful as they just migrated from Salesforce to Penny

- Ability to develop, communicate and gain consensus on a product roadmap.
- Experience evaluating vendor products to meet current or future needs.
