Client - Scrollmark Job Title - Growth Marketer Job Type(C/CTH/FTE) - FT Target Start - asap Reason Open - Growth Work Hour/Days - M-F 9am-5pm Reports to/team size - Akshay Madhani Budget-Bill/Pay Rate $110-150k salary

- We're looking for someone who's done marketing for martech or Shopify/ecommerce enablement startups (where they were one of the first 3 marketing hires). We don't need a generalist necessarily, but we want someone with a proven track record of generating leads.
- 5+ Years of Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience (2019 graduate or earlier) with a proven track record in driving traffic and leads.
- Expertise in Martech Startups: Demonstrated experience growing the marketing function 0-to-1 at a martech startup. Bonus points if the startup is in the social media space.
- Expertise building custom solutions through engineering: Comfort working with an engineering team to drive solutions to help drive more leads
- Experience Talking to Customers: The ability to translate customer frustrations and feedback heard by sales & CS into a clear brand message
- Social Media Marketing: Experience marketing on both organic and paid social
- Self-Starter Attitude: Comfortable taking initiative and independently driving efforts from concept to impact in a fast-paced environment.

Social Media is replacing TV as entertainment, email/SMS as communication, and print media as our source of news. Additionally, with unconnected feeds (think Instagram Reels or TikTok), brands have a greater opportunity than ever to reach and convert new customers on social.
Scrollmark is developing an AI content platform to allow brands to generate social posts meant to go viral. We use social listening to identify trending formats, popular audio, and relevant topics; and create multiple versions of the same posts to allow you to test and reuse content over multiple days/weeks. For the first time, we directly link organic social to revenue using our attribution models.
Scrollmark has raised $8M from top investors like Mayfield and JSV, and we've doubled our revenue for the last 2 quarters. We have cash in the bank for the next 3 years at our current burn rate. Join a strong engineering team with alums from PayPal, LinkedIn, Facebook, Google, and other startups. Must Have Skills - someone who's done marketing for martech or Shopify/ecommerce enablement startups (where they were one of the first 3 marketing hires). We don't need a generalist necessarily, but we want someone with a proven track record of generating leads. Preferred Experience We see a ton of candidates from India who recently moved here. If they ever worked for Infosys, TCS, HCL, or Wipro, they're out. If they haven't been a full-time employee in the US/Canada/Europe since at least 2019, they're out (wiggle room there if they did their bachelors at IIT, Birla/BITS, SRM, or Vellore).
