NEED: Technical Program Manager who will both provide support and lead teams through the development process and implementation of HPE's storage products
The successful candidate leads cross functional teams through the New Product and Service development of HPE's products driving to successful, on time releases
We are looking for a strong candidate with great communication skills, understanding of Cloud Technologies and aaS, as well as strong skills with agile release cadence

• Manage and lead key software and hardware programs involving multiple functions and program teams to drive the cross functional implementation process for multiple products or service offerings for the Primary Storage business unit.
• Create and manage high confidence program schedules with clear dependencies, critical path, and systematic methodology to communicate program status.
• Identify and manage risks to project schedule by working both with cross-functional teams as well as internal R&D teams mitigate and re-plan as events warrant.
• Demonstrate excellent customer engagement skills through all levels of an organization and develop long term relationships based on excellence.
• Develop, track, report on program budget including required resources, capital/operating expense, and GTM plan.
• Work closely with program managers across organizations to review and evaluate program plans and guidelines.
• Actively communicate program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business unit management, internal manufacturing and development partners to recommend and implement changes to products, processes, or business practices to drive continuous improvement and minimize program costs.
• Manage priorities for multiple programs or projects.
• Lead cross functional programs focused on delivering new software and aaS components in a complex, distributed enterprise solution.

Required:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years working as a Program Manager or equivalent, and experience with multiple software systems, infrastructure platforms, and workloads.
• Experience with various software development lifecycles.
• The ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.
• Able to deal with ambiguity and can digest complex problems in creative and analytical fashion.
• Self-starter with the ability to identify challenges and the initiative to take ownership and bring them to resolution.
• Able to effectively communicate program management architectures, plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at business unit levels.
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills and analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good at partnering, innovating, and making things happen

Nice to haves:

• PMP/PMI certification.
• Direct experience program managing saaS products and services releases
• You have a proven track record of being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and work in fast paced ambiguous environments
