Duration: 6 months, plus possibility of extension/conversion

Client's Cloud Networking Team is pioneering innovative technologies on Cloud Computing, with a focus on design and implementation of Client's next generationcloud virtual network services including Virtual Private Cloud, Elastic Load Balancer, and Elastic IP, among others. We are looking for experienced architects and backend software developers who are passionate about cloud technology and are eager to build world-class networking solutions for the public cloud from the ground up.

The ideal candidate is expected to have a strong background in distributed systems, computer networking and architecture. Candidates with prior or ongoing experiences on cloud-native technologies (e.g., KubernetesandDocker), software-defined networking (e.g., OpenStack, OVN, OVS), data-center networking, and networking virtualization are strongly preferred.

The job responsibilities, depending on your prior work experiences, are ranging from designing l3-l7 networking service architecture, to feature development, testing, and operation in support ofClient's Cloud Networking system. Requirements & Qualifications:

A successful candidate for this position must have work experience from technology companies (preferred from large internet and cloud companies) and s/he would have many of the following skills and attributes to qualify for the job

• BS with 8+ years, MS with 5+ Years or Ph.D. with 3+ years of experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• Preferably 2+ years of experience with alarge-scale public/private cloud provider, conducting cloud infrastructure service development
• Excellent coding ability (preferJava, GolangorC++;will also consider C#, Python) and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with network virtualization, SDN, NFV, L3 and above
• Experience with network infrastructure service (VPC/LB/NAT/VPN, etc.) design and development experience is highly preferred.
• Experience with data plane technofixes (P4, XDP/eBFP, OVS/AF_XDP) is preferred
• Good understanding of modern concepts/algorithm/data structures inlargedistributed systems.
• Great understanding of software development life cycle.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to clearly articulate ideas and concepts to fellow engineers and management.
