Fraud and Risk Analyst - San Jose, CA (3 days office in a week) | Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday

Its till end of the year and they are seeking budget for more extension.

Team is Primarily gonna Measure and manage Risk & Fraud, so looking for someone will take over some of our existing dashboard that we have built, the pipeline manage them and add on, make addition them and also have the ability to analyze data, generate insights.
Function will be doing Fraud & Risk, want someone to code and can articulate number
Its a fraud and risk analyst position in ecommerce space.
Good and proficient in SQL(Advanced level SQL).
Identify, detect and keep posting the team about articulate numbers.
Team size is 20 plus.
2 full times (This AWF, Sreeram is in San Jose, CA)
Few people are sitting in shanghai.
Kevin is leading risk insights team.
There will be internal stake holder communication.

D2D:
the team is responsible for metrics, weekly metrics that has been host.
2 days have to manage- pipeline and work though the existing dashboard and another 2 days generating insight, fraud updates.
They manage adhoc updates.
Tableau exp is something they focus on (creating and generating new dashboards)
Bachelors degree or more is good(finance, risk management, statistics and similar)
More yrs of exp will be fine as long they are good with the rate.
They will be dealing with ecosystem data which cant be discussed in deep due to confidentiality.
Industry exp.- analytical side exp required

Top 3 skills:
SQL is highly proficient
Ecommerce with fraud and risk domain.
2-3 yrs would be adequate as they know the numbers well
Tableau
Excel and spread sheets
python is nice to have
java is nice to have

Interview Process:(all three rounds will include sql tests)
all rounds will be of 30-45 mins each(half time of interview will be SQL focussed):
3 rounds with Kevin and Sreeram.

Day to Day Responsibilities of this Position and Description of Project:

Develop significant insights that improve risk controls based on large incidents, near misses, product and portfolio analysis.
Help develop risk frameworks to manage fraud risk, products and portfolio threats, decode policies, fraud prevention and more
Monitor the performance of risk strategies and proactively seek out opportunities for improvement in policy, operations and outputs
Partner with risk horizontal teams to deliver scalable global risk management policies through the buyer lifecycle.
Establish relationships with partners in the regional businesses, product owners, engineering, incident management and risk operations organizations to set shared goals, influence the prioritization and facilitate the implementation of important risk strategies.

The work is specific to Fraud and Risk domain in Buyer Risk space. Though the title shows Data Analyst - we would want to have some one with experience in Fraud/ Risk/ Payments space around e-commerce
