- Drive the development of messaging, content guidelines, frameworks, and best practices, and help maintain existing UX writing standards
- Execute on deliverables with the highest quality standards
- Learn about and discuss technical issues, ranging from complex platform constraints to engineering details and animation or design features
- Proactively seek feedback from UX teammates on your work; incorporate feedback appropriately
- Partner closely with user researchers, leveraging insights to translate complex concepts and terminology into easy to understand language to be used in the products we build
- Document and articulate reasoning behind your design/UX writing decisions to stakeholders
- Communicate productively with cross-functional partners and influencing partners on the best UX writing strategies
- Leverage your experience using a CMS to manage and publish web content
Minimum qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience on user-focused product writing including work in hardware, software, digital agency, or other relevant product area
- Mastery of translating complex terminology into plain language
- Excellent communication skills - clear, direct communication style
- Ability to lead, collaborate and influence cross-functional partners in engineering, design and product management teams
- Ability to work autonomously under little direction
