Sales Specialist (Retail)

JOB OVERVIEW
To complete a variety of specialized duties that support the functional operations of the Self-Manufacturing Sales team
The duties in the department specialist are to support the sales team in the collection, management, and dissemination of data & documents related to customers, products, manufacturing facilities, and sales
This role requires the ability to understand larger role of Self manufacturing while applying accurate, detailed, data to various reports, data bases and both internal and customer directed communications.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Accurate and timely completion of RFQ and Scope documents for potential LFI business.

• Accurate and timely completion of pricing letters and notification to LFI customers.

• Maintains complex records and reports.

• Responds to inquiries in area of responsibility.

• Collects data/information for dept use in special projects or reports.

• Updates information and reports and checks information for accuracy.

• Reviews information/data and makes decisions within defined guidelines and instruction.

• Sorts, files and maintains invoices, receipts, contracts, or other special department documents.

• On-time delivery of key initiatives and deliverables.

• Assists in completion of customer presentations using PowerPoint and Power-Bi.

• Help manage the relationship between the LFI Customers and Manufacturing OPS Team.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

EXPERIENCE LEVEL

• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant category/product management or sales experience.

• Minimum of 1-2 years Retail experience
Preferred, not required.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Intermediate skill levels in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Power-BI.

• Strategic thinker, with good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Results-oriented, with excellent follow through
Able to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Interpersonal skills, including building relationships and conflict resolution
This involves the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with peers, management, suppliers and other company departments.

• Customer relations skills, including meeting customer needs and establishing a service environment.

• Written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in writing, write in a clear and concise manner to peers, vendors, supervisors, or customers
This also includes the ability to target material to the appropriate audience and use correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling.

• Oral communication skills, including the ability to speak in a clear and concise manner to peers, vendors, supervisors, or customers one-on one, or in a small group, or in a formal presentation.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:

• Work typically performed in a temperature-controlled environment.

• Spends long periods of time at desk or computer terminal.

• Uses keyboards, calculators, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday.
