Key Responsibilities: Experience in the use of building design software, preferably Autodesk BIM360 (3yrs) Experience in the building industry working with or at architecture, engineering, and construction disciplines A passion for helping people Aptitude for problem-solving Familiarity using Autodesk Revit and/or other Autodesk Building Solutions products Configure solutions based on product capabilities and company requirements Define migration approach of company data and standards into Autodesk products Drive and confirm adoption and consumption through presentations, tests, training and mentoring of solution details Build relationship with key stakeholders within company team (s) and stay abreast of operational methods and needs Keep up-to-date with market trends and new developments utilizing information for business improvement Lead the implementation of consulting engagements of Autodesk and Building (BIM) solutions Work with internal technology (Software, Networking, Data, more) owners on integrating and writing documents including project schedules, summaries, procedure guides, process diagrams, flow charts, and best practices guides, agendas, and activity summaries
Years and Type of Experience Required: Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering or related degree Must have at least 10 years of hands-on experience in the AEC industry Must have at least 10 years of experience working with BIM solutions, products, and standards Demonstrated initiative and ability to drive decisions and get closure on recommendations and issues Proven ability to work with internal and external project management teams Ability to work independently and with others to set and meet deadlines
This contract consultant position is responsible for driving the business strategy side of the bridge in partnership with LS&Co IT to optimizing Autodesk tools to work with the LS&Cos objectives to digitize burgeoning collaboration processes, policies and procedures in order to deliver data analytics and tracking
This shared goal builds on the progress outlined to match processes using Autodesk products in the BIM360 Suite, including Revit to build and track the LS&Co Fleet of a variety of Points of Sale
The role requires abilities to listen and understand business requirements and translate to LS&Co IT into functioning input/ output and analysis tools for all stakeholders in the workflow to plan/budget/approve/build/operate the point of sale
The platform is to be built to serve universally to the enterprise for 7 Cluster Business Groups to use as prescribed by LS&Co HQ.
Key Results: BUILD- Focusing on User Experience, accelerate growth of BIM360 for Brand Experience-Store Planning and Construction Teams to provide agility and data to the store/shop/point of sale building process with our architect-consultant, Revit standards (with meta data) building team(s)
Target Metrics: 100% Adoption in All 7 Clusters 1
Schematic Design Phase Review Process using Revit Master (Global Tele) Set: 90 days 2
Design Development Approvals- Done by outside parties on our BIM 360 solution: 150 days 3
Project Document Uploads by 3rd Party Vendors: Real Estate (Ex, Broker Info) Materials to Store Opening Photos: 90 days 4
Automated BOQ per project published and referenced by Fixture Vendors: 150 days 5
GC Bidding in BIM360 using Levis Format- 180 days 6
Field Documentation in full use by GCs- 180 days BUILD- Formalize, optimize and document the efficient workflows from Approval to Archive within BIM360 and connection points with Commercial partners (Real Estate/ Retail Leaders/ Budget Approval) for the BIM teams to build while providing value proofs of cost/time/resource efficiencies delivered.
