THIS IS WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Manage and support Metrology project for quality of electric drive unit and related Powertrain Electrification products
• Develop CMM programs using Calypso and perform inspections on Powertrain components and assemblies
• Support tracking and delivery of key KPI's to achieve quality targets and goals
• Work with engineering, manufacturing, and the supply base to ensure requirements flow through
• Support prototypes build Metrology data collection and management
• Collaborate with other members of the engineering staff to support both project and internal R&D efforts THIS IS WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
• BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering
• Minimum of 2 years engineering and/or quality experience including: o Ability to read and understand Blueprints o Knowledge of functionality and GD&T for system level and component level of an assembly
• Basic CAD knowledge, including ability to review designs within any CAD software
• Familiarity with CMM/Gear Measurement Machine, laser scan, CT scan and other gaging devices
• Demonstrated quality improvements through use of structured problem solving
• Experience working in a cross functional environment
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing / production environment THIS IS WHERE YOU'LL WORK: Location: Plymouth MI
