Job Title: Compensation Analyst
Summary of Position:
The Compensation team is responsible for ensuring the organization has market competitive and cost effective Compensation policies and practices, through the provision of compensation consultancy services to specific lines of business
Reporting to the Compensation Manager, this role collaborates with HR Business Partners and other COEs to prepare analyses and reports in support of compensation programs, client group analytics and salary data.
Job Duties
- Support compensation planning, program administration, compensation program automation projects
- Assist with the delivery of annual compensation planning including data validation, system testing and tracking exception reports
- Complete and submit salary survey submissions
- Support the development of salary ranges by preparing CompAnalyst system loads, assisting with market analysis, and creating workday load files
- Assist with the maintenance and tracking of vendor agreements, purchase orders and invoices
- Create, distribute and collect all annual FY21 Sales Bonus Plan documents and quarterly statements
- Create, audit and support workday file loads for all bonus payments and ad-hoc projects
- Assist with the day-to-day activities to support development of compensation program approaches and methodologies to improve operations and business outcomes.
- Responding to compensation-related questions from managers, HR Business Partners and recruiters
- Support compensation planning, program administration, compensation program automation projects
- Conduct market analysis and insights for new and existing roles - Create job profiles in Workday and maintain job catalog
- Develops and maintains documentation and templates for key compensation processes; identifies opportunities and leads process improvement activities
Knowledge, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Statistics, or related discipline
- 4+ years of experience in compensation consultant/analytics role
- Strong analytical and data analysis, critical thinking, attention to detail, communication and partnering skills to evaluate data and provide recommendations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to manage large quantities of data, data conversion and charting
Experience with Microsoft Access is a plus
- Demonstrable partnership, influencing skills, communication skills and customer support
- Experience with global HR System
- Knowledge and experience in HR strategies and practices
- Experience working across disciplines in HR
- Strong Project Management skills; accepts different viewpoints while working toward the best solution
- Motivated self-starter with ability to deal with ambiguity while driving work to completion
- Excellent communication skills and experience working with leaders at all levels of the organization
- Innovative and creative approach to problem solving
