Job Requisition: Product Manager, Employee Experience & Productivity Applications (Short-Term Support)
Team Overview:
The Digital Workplace Solutions (DWS) team is dedicated to enhancing the employee experience and boosting productivity by providing and supporting a suite of powerful applications. We ensure our colleagues have the tools they need to collaborate effectively, create impactful work, and streamline their daily tasks.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Product Manager for engagement to support our DWS portfolio focused on Employee Experience and Productivity applications. This role will be crucial in ensuring the continued success and user adoption of key tools, including but not limited to Smartsheet, Brandfolder, Airtable, Lucidchart/Lucidspark, Figma/Figjam, Adobe Suite (Acrobat DC and Creative Cloud All Apps), Grammarly, Calendly, Quip, Gartner, Vizzlo, and ThinkCell.
The ideal candidate will step in to provide immediate support to the existing product management function, focusing on operational excellence, user-centered improvements, renewals & procurement, and ensuring these applications effectively meet the evolving needs of our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Portfolio Support:
- Act as a point of contact and subject matter expert for a designated set of employee experience and productivity applications.
- Assist in managing the product backlog for these applications, including gathering and prioritizing user stories, and addressing bugs and enhancements.
- Support the day-to-day operational aspects of these applications, including user escalations, access management queries, and basic troubleshooting guidance.
- Contribute to the maintenance of product documentation, knowledge base articles, and training materials.
- User & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Liaise with internal user groups to gather feedback, understand pain points, and identify opportunities for improving the utility and experience of the supported applications.
- Collaborate with IT, security, and other relevant teams to ensure applications are performing optimally and adhere to company policies.
- Support communication efforts related to application updates, new features, and best practices.
- Vendor & License Management Assistance:
- Assist in tracking application usage and license deployment to identify opportunities for optimization.
- Support interactions with vendors for issue resolution and to stay informed about product roadmaps.
- Productivity Enhancement:
- Identify and recommend ways to improve employee productivity through better utilization of existing tools or by highlighting unmet needs.
- Support pilot programs or evaluations of new features or complementary tools as directed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a product management, product support, or a similar role, preferably within an enterprise environment.
- Demonstrable experience supporting a portfolio of SaaS applications.
- Familiarity with a range of employee experience and productivity tools. Specific experience with several of the listed applications (Smartsheet, Brandfolder, Airtable, Lucidchart/Lucidspark, Figma/Figjam, Adobe Suite, Grammarly, Calendly, Quip, Gartner, Vizzlo, ThinkCell) is highly advantageous.
- Understanding of product management principles, including backlog grooming, user story creation, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
- Proactive and results-oriented with a strong focus on user satisfaction.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
