SUMMARY
We are seeking a Project Manager with the drive, experience and skill set to lead our Retail Tech (Point-of-Sale) workstreams. The projects will involve implementation of and integration with multiple technologies and will span multiple teams and geographic regions.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• We are seeking a Project Manager with the drive, experience and skill set to lead our Retail Tech (Point-of-Sale) workstreams
• The projects will involve implementation of and integration with multiple technologies and will span multiple teams and geographic regions
• Developing project objectives and strategies and assessing how it impacts organization goals and objectives
• Planning, preparing materials, and leading project meetings
• Partnering with Business and Technology leadership to establish a solid understanding of the vision, purpose and expected business benefits of the projects
• Partnering with executive decision makers, business stakeholders, technology teams and external technology partners on defining and planning portfolio projects aligning on key success metrics and KPIs to define success and prioritization based on value/impact
• Driving project -level work efforts, including mapping dependencies and surfacing risks
• Ensuring teams across the organization are aligned on project goals, objectives, and timelines
• Tracking and managing financial aspects of the program, including budget estimation and management and risk assessment and mitigation
• Managing project-level communication to the executive stakeholders and generally across the organization
• Working with IT/engineering leads, partner in vendor conversations to lead and direct statement of work creation, scoping and budget planning while also providing coaching/advisory function to vendor performance
QUALIFICATIONS
• BS in computer science, engineering or equivalent with 7 years of Technical Project Manager Experience
• MS in computer science with 5 years of experience Technical Project Manager Experience
• Fully versed in MS Project
• Experience with Agile development preferred
• Experience in working on mid to large scale Transformation initiatives
• Strong leadership and communications skills
• Excellent problem solving, strategic thinking abilities, and highly organized
• Strong analytical abilities and technical aptitude
• Sharp business mind and proven ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with business stakeholders
• Retail experience a plus but not required for this opportunity
• PMP certification a plus but not required for this opportunity
