The team is structured as SME based games memorabilia, modern trading card, vintage trading card, signature, video games, pop culture, and signed memorabilia. The team was shaved from 10 member to 5 member team, due to the inclusion of ChatGPT n AI to the job. This candidate will be writing product descriptions, they will have to explain who, why, where, how of the product.
Top Skills:
- If the resume has collectibles space experience then those resume will go right to the top
- If the candidate can work onsite from the Runnemede, NJ, those are the top candidates
- 1+ years exp and willing to look at senior candidates as well
- Writing experience is very much required
Writing Sample:

Job Description: Goldin Auctions is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Editorial Contractor to join our editorial department. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of spelling and grammar, thorough knowledge of AP Style, and relevant experience in the collectibles space, particularly with sports and non-sports cards, memorabilia, game-used memorabilia, and signed memorabilia.
Responsibilities:
Write, research, and edit content related to various collectibles for auction listings, promotional materials, and other related content.
Ensure all written materials adhere to AP Style guidelines and maintain the highest level of accuracy and quality.
Collaborate with team members to generate ideas and refine content, ensuring alignment with company standards and market trends.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Stay updated with trends and developments in the collectibles market to produce informed and engaging content.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Journalism, Communications, or a related field; or applicable experience in a similar role.
Proven experience in writing and editing, preferably within the collectibles industry.
Strong knowledge of AP Style and excellent command of spelling and grammar.
Ability to research and verify information efficiently and accurately.
Team-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
